he threat of a nuclear attack from North Korea remains very real for the nation of South Korea. But with the increased nuclear capabilities, an attack North Korean attack on the United States is also a possibility. So as the threat of nuclear attack intensifies the United States Military has announced that they will be deploying 12 F-16 fighter jets to South Korea.
“Approximately 200 airmen and 12 F-16 Fighting Falcons with the 119th Fighter Squadron from Atlantic City Air National Guard Base, New Jersey, are set to deploy in February to Osan Air Base.”
